The 97th Southeastern Educational Congress of Optometry (SECO) meeting is returning to Atlanta this year, taking place March 4–8.

Classes start Wednesday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m. and run until Sunday, March 8, at 2:00 p.m. In addition, special session seminars and a symposium series are being held throughout the week.

SECO is launching a new format at this year’s conference with enhancements including the addition of new programs, new learning formats, and a MedPro360 initiative in collaboration with the Allied Ophthalmic Professionals committees.

Focused on providing learning for every office member, education courses will provide actionable takeaways and business best practices. There are 151 courses for optometrists and 159 for opticians, techs, paraoptometrics, and administrators.

Program highlights include 80+ advanced learning courses, use of 3D technology in the classroom, 34+ MedPRO360 courses dedicated to practice management, 14+ hours of a curated specs buyer’s certificate program, an allied healthcare professionals “New to the office series” and a VIP “bring your team” experience for those who register five or more members of their team at this year’s conference.

More than 220 suppliers representing over 900 brands will be displayed in the exhibit hall on Thursday 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
