Los Angeles-The Carrera sunglass brand recently revealed its latest collection during its annual chic summer oasis at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles.

Sophisticated and stylish tastemakers, including a number of notable film and television celebrities, were invited to be one of the first to view the vintage-inspired, unisex Carrera 6000 sunglass collection, which features an iconic square shape and is available in 12 retro colors.

Named after the 6000° temperature of the sun’s photosphere, the collection stands out with gloss/matte color contrasts, vertical stripes for the sports-inspired styles, or camouflage tones.

The collection is constructed from an ultra-lightweight, hypoallergenic material, called Optyl, which features a soft-touch effect and is designed not to deform, even at high temperatures, the company noted.
