Somerville, NJ-Viva introduces 10 eyeglass styles for men and women from the Harley-Davidson spring 2012 collection. The men’s styles evoke a masculine, trend-driven quality; while the women’s styles blend subtle flame accents and stone embellishments.

Each frame is solidly constructed and designed with clean lines and subtle logo treatments.

Key materials include stainless steel, as seen in models HD 422, HD 423 and HD 424 from the men’s ophthalmic collection. This lightweight material delivers a slim profile, and a series of parallel notches help define the style’s streamlined temple design. Soft metallic colors, including brown, gunmetal, olive and black, are inspired by the chrome details of the brand’s esteemed motorcycles. Each style is finished with branded chrome temple tips.

The ophthalmic collection for women includes models HD 506, HD 507 and HD 508, featuring a three-piece compression mount construction. The styles feature a subtle flame pattern on each temple and the Harley-Davidson logo accented by two crystal stones.

The trendy prescription-ready sunglass models deliver full UV/UB protection, along with sporty, yet fashionable design elements. Model HDX 833, from the men’s collection, features a flame-enhanced temple design and a metal plaque with the Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield logo. This sleek handmade acetate sunglass style is finished in classic black, orange and tortoise colorations.

The double-bridge aviator design of prescription-ready sunglass model HDX 834, comprised of stainless steel, features the Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield logo laser-etched on the temples, as well as the top part of the frame’s bridge. Enhanced by a slim profile and featured in the men’s sunglass campaign image, model HDX 834 takes its inspiration from the brand’s trend-driven design elements. The added benefit of polarized lenses offers superior glare reduction and optimum sun protection.

The spring releases from the prescription-ready sunglass collection for women deliver dramatic styling in a rich color palette, including black on zebra, gradient amber, purple and tortoise. An elegant button appliqué featuring a Harley-Davidson HD logo adorns the temples of models HDX 838 and HDX 839. Handcrafted in acetate, the soft square shape of model HDX 838 and oval shape of HDX 839 offers a daring, yet fashionable look.
