Reichert's ClearChart 2 digital acuity system is LINUX-based and free of hard drives, fans, and other moving parts for silent and "lock-up-free" operation.

Key Points

Basic features of the system include sine wave grating contrast sensitivity testing, three calibrated light levels for contrast sensitivity and Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS) testing, pediatric fixation animation with sound, patient education slides for doctor/patient communication, and adjustable red/green color tones for compatibility with any refraction system.
