DryEye Rescue to become US's sole distributor of InflammaDry Dry Eye Test

DryEye Rescue recently announced it has been chosen as the sole distributor of InflammaDry Dry Eye Test in the United States.1
InflammaDry is a diagnostic test that detects elevated levels of MMP-9, an inflammatory marker consistently found in the tears of patients with dry eye disease, taken from the inside lining of the lower eyelid.
According to DryEye Rescue, the benefits of the test include its rapid results, ease of use, non-invasive, and the only in-office CLIA-waived test.
Originally manufactured by QuidelOrtho, the company stated it has confidence in the company taking over the distribution process. DryEye Rescue is a platform where doctors can shop for products to give patients “specialized dry eye care.” Products include eye drops, vitamins, and contact lens solutions.
