Optical Lab Software Solutions becomes Rx-Universe in global rebranding

Article

To maintain brand recognition, Optical Lab Software and Solutions is now Rx-Universe’s brand statement, which clearly communicates what the organization offers.

Optical Lab Software Solutions is rebranding to Rx-Universe as they forge into the future of optical lab technology. The global rebrand reflects the company’s reputation as a trailblazer in the laboratory management system (LMS) technology. The new branding for Rx-Universe will debut at Vision Expo East in New York City from March 16-19, 2023.

“We are thrilled to rebrand as Rx-Universe. We believe it’s the perfect time to establish Rx-Universe as the leader in LMS technology, and reconfirm our strong commitment to our customers for delivering innovative solutions and expert care,” Jodi Nickerson, senior director of sales and marketing at Rx-Universe, said in a press release. “This rebrand is so much more than a name change and new logo. It’s a reflection of who we’ve been, yet sends a clear message that Rx-Universe is the brand we are taking into the future, and the brand labs can trust.”

The new brand identity, including the name, logo, and website, better represent the company’s leadership within the LMS industry, the company claims in a press release. The modern design communicate the brand’s value more clearly to the optical lab community.

The global rebrand reflects the company’s intention to delve into the future of optical lab technology. Their premier suite of lab management software lends flexibility and scalability to the modern optical lab. The modern user interface, integrated business intelligence, and comprehensive production control work with the flexible and scalable architecture to aid in efficiency and quality improvement within an optical lab.

The rebrand applies to digital platforms as well. The website domain has been updated to rx-universe.com and their social profiles have been refreshed on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. A YouTube channel will be launched in the near future.
