Jackson:

How do you get started with marketing?

Sampalis:

So marketing, I think it is just baby steps—we use Facebook, it's super easy just to start that way. And then just using your EMR and your recall system just to do eblasts. That's easy, too. And then there are articles out there on how to set up a Google account, and how to mark it on Google. And that's pretty easy, too. So they make it—it's pretty easy to get started, even if you have your office manager do it, as well.

And Google is great, where you can say, "hey, I'm just gonna market between 12 to 5, Monday through Thursday and then turn it off and restart next week." Um, so it's pretty straightforward, easy stuff to do that and that's how I got started but once I started diving into it and saw the return and and how a lot of practices aren't doing it, I found to get much it gets much easier.
