EyePrint Prosthetics, Advanced Vision Technologies (AVT), and WAVE Contact Lens System have joined together to form WAVE Eye Care, a division dedicated to fully customized specialty contact lenses. WAVE Eye Care offers solutions including orthokeratology (ortho-k), scleral, and corneal gas permeable lenses, according to a news release.

“We are thrilled to launch WAVE Eye Care at the Global Specialty Lens Symposium in Las Vegas,” said Michael Wolber, CEO of WAVE Eye Care. “With over 50 years of combined expertise in designing and manufacturing fully customized contact lenses, our mission is clear – to provide the best specialty contact lens solutions for every patient.”

Additionally, WAVE Eye Care will be utilizing advanced CAD/CAM software, EyePrint Impression technology, and collaborative consulting within the division. The software allows for leverage of topography-based WABE Lens Design for precision lens creation, while the Impression technology is able to manage even the most complex irregular corneas with accuracy.1

WAVE Eye Care is at the Global Specialty Lens Symposium, which will run until January 18 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at booth #207.
