Parsippany, NJ-Safilo’s Balenciaga eyewear collection-consisting of sunglasses and optical frames-features vintage-inspired shapes with modern twists that reflect the contemporary and radical spirit of the brand.

The four new sunglass styles include Model BAL 0104/S, which combines a harmonious construction with an innovative design. Made of Optyl, an ultra-lightweight material, the style offers an elegant contrast in color. Model BAL 0105/S is an acetate sculptured eyewear in a geometric hexagonal shape. The monogram is evident on the temples and the colors of the frames go from classic havana and dark grey, to more bolder colors, such as orange and blue. The modern shape of the BAL 0106/S is emphasized by a skillful play of contrasting colors. And the design of the BAL 0111/S exudes the spirit of the Fifties, defined by the accentuated and multisided thicknesses, the linear shape, and the logo on the temples.

Two new optical frames are elaborately designed with accentuated volumes and elegant colors. The BAL 0113 presents an austere elegance and timeless charm with sculpted clean lines and distinctive features, such as the monogram engraved on the temples. The color range is bold with orange, blue, honey and dark grey frames. BAL 0115 is an elegant women’s acetate in butterfly shape emphasized by refined colors, such as dark brown, dark red, brown/purple and blue/grey.
