FastCoat from SuperSystems allows independent eyecare practitioners to add polycarbonate lenses to their offerings.

Cincinnati, OH-SuperSystems recently announced the launch of its new in-office hard lens coating, FastCoat.

FastCoat expands the traditional range of FastGrind by allowing eyecare professionals to add polycarbonate lenses to their in-house services. According to the company, practices were previously limited to paying for hard coaters, which were bulky and expensive, or giving the order to a lab, losing most of the profit.

FastCoat offers a small footprint and allows small-or medium-sized independent practitioners to better utilize FastGrind. The system is manually operated with minimal training.
