Walmart and Sam's Club plan new initiatives in 2013, including a private-label contact lens brand, an online and phone contact lens program, and lower prices on contact lenses.

Bentonville, AR-Walmart and Sam’s Club are introducing new products, an online and phone contact lens (CL) program, and reduced prices on many popular CLs.

This February, Walmart will launch its own private label Equate brand of CLs to give customers even more options at competitive prices.

Walmart customers can now visit www.WalmartContacts.com or call 800/741-LENS (5367) and Sam’s Club members can now visit www.SamsClub.com/contacts or call 800/749-LENS (5367) to place contact lens orders and have lenses delivered directly to their home. Free shipping is available on orders over $50 for Walmart Contacts and $45 for Sam’s Club Contacts.

Walmart and Sam’s Club have reduced prices on many leading CLs, such as Vistakon’s Acuvue Oasys and Acuvue Moist and Alcon’s Air Optix Aqua.
