Woo:

Hi, I'm Dr. Stephanie Woo from Woo University [Woo U].

Eiden:

And I'm Dr. Barry Eiden from the International Kerataconus Academy [IKA].

Woo:

And together, Woo U and IKA have combined forces and we've come up with an incredible educational curriculum called the Keratoconus Essentials Program. So, Barry, can you tell us a little bit about the program?

Eiden:

Sure. We all know, or are learning, that keratoconus is much more common in the population than we ever thought before. And now we have ways to actually stop its progression; because of that, understanding the disease and making early diagnosis become so much more important than ever before in order to preserve vision. So we put together this program—the Keratoconus Essentials Program—to help educate eye doctors in terms of the most current thinking as it pertains to the diagnosis and management of keratoconus.

Woo:

Yeah, and it's really easy to register everything is completely free thanks to iEducation by Glaukos. So it's very simple to sign up register. And you're going to learn from some of the experts in the keratoconus field. And after each little module, there's actually going to be a quiz. And if you pass with 70% or higher, you will get your certificate. So together we just feel like this is a very important program. We're really really excited about it and excited to hear what you guys think.
