January 20th 2014Kala Pharmaceuticals, Inc. recently announced that it has submitted an Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to initiate a Phase 3 clinical program with its MPP-formulated loteprednol etabonate ophthalmic nano-suspension product (LE-MPP) for the treatment of post-operative inflammation and pain following cataract surgery.
Nicox gains rights to AMD test
January 16th 2014Nicox announced today that it is expanding its diagnostic portfolio with RetnaGene, a test to predict a patient’s risk of progressing to late-stage or wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The company plans to promote the test in the U.S. during the first half of 2014.
