St. Louis-OptometryStudents.com (OS) has forged an alliance with International Vision Expo. OS provides an avenue to help students become the future leaders of optometry and to ensure the profession’s growth and stability.
Matthew Geller, founder of OptometryStudents.com and SUNY College of Optometry Class of 2013, said: “An alliance with International Vision Expo is ideal to help us to continue to grow, considering they welcome more than 500 optometry students each year, providing them with amazing educational and networking opportunities.”
“Our focus is to align with strong organizations that have the students’ best interests in mind,” said Tom Loughran, group vice president for Reed Exhibitions, co-sponsor of International Vision Expo along with The Vision Council.
At Vision Expo East, held March 14-17 in New York, the OS Core Leadership Team provided pre- and post-show journalistic coverage on topics ranging from clinical optometry to practice management to hows and the whys of professional involvement in events such as Vision Expo.
