Performance eyewear company Revo has announced its launch of Revo Australia, a joint venture that compliments the company’s 40th anniversary.1 Revo Australia will be led by industry veteran Richard Hoare, who has over 30 years of experience in the optical industry under his belt, according to a news release.

"As Revo celebrates its 40th anniversary, we're pleased to expand our footprint in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region through this strategic joint venture," said Cliff Robinson, Revo CEO, in the release. "Australia is a key market for premium polarized sunglasses, with high demand for quality sun wear and a discerning customer base. By partnering with industry leaders like Richard, we're positioning Revo to connect more closely with customers while expanding our reach across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Pacific Rim markets."

According to the release, the launch of Revo Australia comes at a time when demand for premium polarized eyewear is seeing continuous growth. "I'm excited to be part of this joint venture and help bring Revo's rich history and NASA-based lens technology to the APAC region," said Richard Hoare, managing director of Revo Australia, in the release. "Revo customers are fiercely loyal, and we see immense opportunity for growth in this market and are eager to build on the passion that consumers already feel for the brand."
