Zeal Optics, the company that introduced the first goggles with GPS systems and launched the first complete line of bio-based sunglasses in eyewear, has appointed David Borbon director of sales.

Boulder, CO – Zeal Optics, the company that introduced the first goggles with GPS systems and launched the first complete line of bio-based sunglasses in eyewear, has appointed David Borbon director of sales.

Borbon joins Zeal Optics from O’Neill Clothing, Irvine, CA, a manufacturer of wetsuits, dry suits, sports clothing, and accessories. At Hurley International, Borbon covered the men’s, junior’s and children’s divisions, as well as the US Coast Guard, NEXCOM, and Hard Rock Amusement Park in the mid-Atlantic territory.

In the optical industry, Borbon spent years as an accessories representative for Oakley Inc., where he helped launch numerous products and stage marketing events.
